Studland Bay is a natural shelter for yachts and small boats. There are extensive beaches, which provide safe swimming for children. Many walks are available in this area of outstanding natural beauty which is now owned by the National Trust. Swanage is located nearby as are the bright lights of Bournemouth which can be reached via the ferry at the entrance to Poole Harbour.

The accommodation has an enclosed, rear courtyard garden with a gravelled seating area that is surrounded by climbers and flowers. This holiday cottage has dedicated parking and views of the Purbeck Hills.
